Trustee Services Administrator (Wills and Estates)

Location: Ipswich

Salary: Competitive – dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a Trustee Services Administrator to join our Wills and Estates team and assist with the administration of estates, wills, and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs).

Key Accountabilities

* Maintaining wills and LPA databases
* Sending emails and letters to beneficiaries and co-executors
* Raising invoices and taking fees
* Monitoring the shared mailbox for tasks and general queries
* Making distributions to the beneficiaries
* Liaising with other teams within the business on new business
* Reconciliation of estate accounts
* Preparing draft wills
* Drafting LPAs
* Creation of tax certificates
* Liaising with the Tax team and providing them with information
* Other administration of estates and wills as needed

Candidate Profile

* Will have previous administration experience
* Will have strong interpersonal skills to be able to deal with sensitive family situations
* Will be a diligent and thorough individual, capable of working unsupervised
* The ability to prioritise work and be organised
* Will have an interest in developing knowledge in estates and trusts administration
* Basic knowledge of wills and estates law, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and accounting principles would be advantageous

Contractual Hours

9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
