Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our National Safety Team as a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training. They will also investigate incidents, develop and maintain effective safety practices, and prepare and present safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S)
* Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation
* Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Work Effectively with Teams at All Levels
* A Proactive and Highly Organized Approach to Managing Multiple Priorities
* Proven Ability to Work Autonomously
* Excellent Planning, Time Management, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making Skills
