CHEF DE PARTIE REQUIRED FOR RESTAURANT/GASTRO-PUB IN ESPERANCE, WA
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious chef for our busy restaurant/gastro pub in Esperance.
The position is for a Chef de Partie
This full-time permanent role is perfect for a Chef who wants to be part of a happy close-knit team.
The Gastro pub is a two-storey venue with stunning views of the Esperance Bay. You will be passionate about creating and building food choices that entice the palate and compliments the coastal lifestyle that is Esperance. Local produce will be sourced where possible to further enhance our regions unique and developing foodie culture.
You will be required to provide a consistent high quality food service using locally sourced fresh produce. In addition, specific responsibilities are listed below…
Responsibilities – Chef de Partie position
· Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chefs you will have a passion for cooking and drive to deliver excellent meals consistently.
· You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes.
· Mentoring and supporting the cooks and kitchenhands to promote a positive team culture, making it a great place to work.
· Assist and develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
What you'll need:
· Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen
· Relevant cookery qualifications.
· Cookery skills that would be required within a commercial kitchen setting.
· Excellent communication skills
· Keen to train new and existing staff in the kitchen.
· Ensure dish presentation is consistent and well dressed.

An attractive salary package is available for the right person with flexibility and performance incentives. This is a full-time position.
