About the Role.
We are looking for a driven and hands‐on Operational Manager to oversee and elevate performance across multiple venues within Daily Group Co.
This is a key leadership role focused on people, operations and growth. You will work closely with Directors, HR Manager and venue leaders to ensure consistency, profitability and a strong team culture across all locations.
This is not a desk‐based role, we're looking for someone who leads from the front and thrives on being hands‐on.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day‐to‐day operations across multiple venues, sites and different business units
* Ensure consistency in service, product quality and customer experience
* Drive revenue, profitability and cost control across all sites and business units
* Monitor KPIs including labour, GP and sales performance
* Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies
* Oversee and optimise product delivery systems, logistics and inter‐venue coordination
* Lead, mentor and support venue managers and teams
* Build strong, high‐performing teams and a positive workplace culture
* Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development
* Act as a key point of support for venue leadership
* Implement and improve systems and processes
* Support new venue openings and business expansion
* Work closely with Directors on strategy and operational execution
* Ensure consistency across all venues as the group grows
* Support operational integration across both retail and wholesale channels
* Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and licensing requirements
* Maintain high operational and presentation standards across all locations
About You
We're looking for a strong operations manager with a commercial mindset and natural leadership presence.
Full Australian working rights are required for this position.
You will ideally have:
* 3–5+ years experience in a senior hospitality role (Venue Manager / Operations Manager)
* Multi‐site experience (highly regarded)
* Experience managing 3-4 venues simultaneously is essential
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, labour control and cost management
* Experience or exposure to budgeting processes and cash flow projections (highly regarded)
* Hands‐on approach and ability to work across multiple venues
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and problem‐solve
* Passion for hospitality, food and delivering great customer experiences
* Experience across both retail and/or wholesale hospitality operations is highly regarded
