Industrial Technology & Design Workshop Assistant at MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter. This full-time, permanent position supports the ITD Workshop with technical and logistical duties in Term 4, 2025 or Term 1, 2026 (negotiable).

SOF Level 4 - $36.98 - $38.14 gross per hour

MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter is a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns. The College commenced secondary education in 2020 and has been expanding with new year levels.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and logistical support by modelling, demonstrating and supervising student use of machinery in the ITD Workshop.
Assist with practical skills in timber, metal and construction, as well as administrative tasks such as completing order forms for materials, basic filing and OHS safety compliance documentation.
Contribute to a diverse role requiring both hands-on workshop work and administrative coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in construction, electrical engineering, welding or related trades, or school/ITD department experience will be highly regarded.
Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
