We are looking to welcome a part-time [0.8FTE] Therapy Service Coordinator to our Safe Healing team in Springwood In this role, you will enhance trauma-related mental health outcomes for both children and adults impacted by sexual abuse and family domestic violence. Help us build and sustain relationships with external South Brisbane and Logan stakeholders and provide supervision to our team of therapeutic practitioners.

This service is funded by the Brisbane South Primary Health Network (BSPhN), under the Supported Recovery pilot program. We are especially keen to work with our BSPhN consortia partners for continuity and welcome requests for secondment from other like-minded agencies.

This role will be a 4-day-per-week, 6-month max term contract/secondment opportunity to cover extended leave. This role is a great way to gain new leadership experience, build on your knowledge, and grow your professional networks

* Level 7 SCHCADS Award.
* Salary range: $119,094- $124,074 (pro-rata) + Superannuation.
* 0.8 FTE Part-time, 6-month maximum term opportunity until 30 June 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a clinical team to deliver high quality outcomes within a culture focused on impact, accountability and innovation and ensure team members fulfill the requirements of their roles.
* Provide supervision and leadership for team members, with a focus on practice excellence.
* Establish and maintain collaborative sector partnerships to enable seamless service delivery.
* Support evaluation process of the pilot program.
* Manage referrals into the service, intake, waitlist management, and allocation to therapists.

About You

* Tertiary degree qualifications in psychology, counselling, mental health, or other relevant disciplines.
* Qualifications in professional supervision are desirable.
* At least five (5) years' experience in a therapeutic/recovery setting working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by child sexual abuse, family domestic and sexual violence.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and build strategic relationships with key Government and NGO stakeholders. Extensive local knowledge of the Primary Health Network, and wider support sector are highly desirable to strengthen existing community and service delivery.
* Strong understanding of the impacts of trauma, including sexual abuse, on child and family functioning, coupled with knowledge of current treatment trends, child protection legislation, and policy reforms.

Other Requirements

* Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
* Current driver's licence.
* Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
