Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
Build and maintain multi-level relationships within the travel industry.
Collaborate with marketing for lead generation efforts.
Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and manage opportunities.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Understand market trends and competitive offerings.
Present products and services effectively to maximize engagement and profitability.
Negotiate agreements to optimize outcomes.
Support customers through transitional phases.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the travel industry, ideally in a business development role with a strong multilevel understanding of leisure / retail travel.
Either: strong existing networks in retail travel
or
demonstrable success as a new business hunter.
Strategic approach to bringing on new accounts.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Understanding of travel agency operations and supplier landscapes.
