This leadership role will coordinate all workshop maintenance activities ensuring a safe and healthy workplace is maintained. This role will manage community and environmental compliance and ensure all production and cost targets are met.
About the Role
1. Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and servicing of mobile equipment effectively.
2. Ensure equipment is well maintained, clean and fit for purpose and breakdowns are managed efficiently in an appropriate timeframe.
3. Work closely and communicate with subcontractors to achieve alignment between project goals and subcontract compliance.
4. Coordinate and control ongoing maintenance to plant and equipment during major shutdown repairs.
5. Lead, demonstrate and educate employees to create a work environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment where everyone is treated with respect.
About You
1. A trade qualification in Plant Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or Electrical Trade Qualifications is essential.
2. At least 5 years mining experience with exposure to supervision of maintenance is required.
3. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and JDE is desirable.
4. The ability to work with cross functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders is necessary.
5. Commitment and compliance to Health and Safety at all times is mandatory.
6. Demonstrated mining supervisory training/qualifications or experience in a similar role is preferred.
