Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology – Manning Base Hospital, Taree NSW Australia
Permanent or fractional Staff Specialist appointments and VMO options available. Remuneration based on Staff Specialist (State) Award. Rural incentives may apply.
About The Department
* Busy birthing suite (approx. 650 deliveries p.a.) and outpatient clinics (including ANC, Gynaecology, High Risk Obstetrics and Colposcopy)
* Surgical services including minimally invasive, open and laparoscopic surgery
* JMO support (Accredited Registrar +/- Rural Generalists, SRMO and RMO)
* Links to a well-established Department of Paediatrics with Special Care Nursery
* Close relationship with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health with teaching students in Year 3 – 5 of the Joint Medical Program
* Appointment as a Conjoint Academic is encouraged (level commensurate with qualifications and experience)
