Airport Operations Supervisor Role
Qatar Airways is seeking a skilled professional to supervise airport operations, ensuring timely flight closures and exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Duty Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating ramp handling, coordinating with airport staff, and allocating manpower efficiently.
* Ramp Handling and Coordination: Facilitate the movement of aircraft on the ground, working closely with airport staff to expedite departures.
* Team Supervision: Lead and train a team of Customer Service Agents, ensuring they deliver award-winning 5-star service to our customers.
* Duty Allocations: Plan and allocate duties for Customer Service Agents, providing support to the Airport Services Manager as needed.
* Reporting and Administration: Generate reports, maintain a tidy work environment, and lead by example in a fast-paced airport setting.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Relevant college or university qualification, with a focus on aviation or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an airline or reputable Ground Handling Operations at supervisory level.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, fluency in English language, knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
