Reporting to the Demand Planning & S&OP; Manager, the primary focus of this role is to manage and coordinate the existing Demand Planning processes and procedures; working closely and building relationships with our dedicated sales and operations planning teams to ensure our customer-focused targets are delivered.
Responsibilities
- Lead, prepare and present the monthly cycle of Wk 1 Pre Demand and Wk 2 Demand Reviews - including collation and communication of associated minutes/actions
- Ownership of the baseline and project demand forecast which supports the wider Supply Chain function to meet market demand
- Review and refine forecast models considering input from Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, customers and historical sales trends
- Review trends in forecast accuracy / forecast bias with a goal of progressive continuous improvement of gaps between forecast and sales
- In relation to changes in demand trends, proactively communicate to the supply team any changes/risks that could affect customer serviceability and/or cost
- Work closely with Sales and Product Managers and act as a key support to ensure Product Life Cycle and Product Status is maintained for all SKU's
- Collaboration with Sales and Product Management on new product launches, deletions, range review, etc. to ensure success in the market and to minimize write-off exposure and clearance
- Take ownership and drive successful outcomes of individual objectives and development plans
Your Skills
- Minimum 2-3+ years of demand planning experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, a willingness & ability to challenge assumptions and high attention to detail
- Effective listening in challenging, agile environments and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent presentation skills (both preparation and delivery)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical capability
- Experience in SAP would be advantageous (SAP IBP experience highly valued)
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or analytical discipline preferred
- Advanced skills in Excel are highly desirable
