Communications Officer – Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Melbourne. Location: Parkville, Victoria. Role type: Full Time, Fixed Term until 18 December. Salary: UOM 5 – $86,943–$99,864 per annum plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
* Craft engaging content translating complex information into understandable messages for diverse audiences. Develop high‑quality materials for staff hub, websites, social media, media releases.
* Execute communication strategies supporting integrated strategic communications plans and promotional strategies.
* Manage stakeholder relationships by collaborating with key internal stakeholders to plan and execute communications activities and events.
* Drive digital presence: publish content on the Faculty's news website, maintain media databases and image banks.
Qualifications
* Versatile communications professional with strong writing skills and project management experience, capable of creating engaging content from complex sources across multiple platforms within a dynamic university environment.
* Degree with relevant experience or extensive expertise in communications.
* Experience in content development for print, digital, and social channels.
* Strong project management abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
