Customer Service Officer/Hire Controller - Gladstone

Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to join the team in our Gladstone branch. You will be part of a growing team with local support branches and a total of 17 other branches throughout the state.
About the role:
* Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
* Generate quotes, provide pricing and availability to clients and make booking of hire equipment.
* Support a culture of upselling at every opportunity.
* Co-ordinate deliveries and pick ups.
* Learn about machinery from small hand tools to large compaction rollers & more.
* Co-ordinating, assisting and liaising with mechanics in the workshop.
* Introduction into a growing career opportunity.
* Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment as well as the occasional delivery to customer sites as well as yard work as required.
* Typical hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday
The key skills required for this role include:
* Sound written and strong verbal communication skills
* A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes.
* Sound experience with IT applications including Microsoft suite.
* Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities.
* Ability to run reports, audit documentation and adhere to procedures
* Hire industry experience with equipment and mechanical knowledge preferred but not essential
