We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to students in Central Queensland schools. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other mental health professionals to enhance student wellbeing and promote positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individual and group counseling services to students with mild to moderate mental health concerns
* Work closely with school teams to develop and implement mental health support plans
* Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A qualification in psychology or a related field
* Provisional or full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience working with children and adolescents
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
