About the role
The Emergency Department at Ballina District Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. In this role, you'll enhance access to healthcare through the provision of a flexible and innovative model of care. The Nurse Practitioner Emergency Ballina will work within a team of Nurse Practitioners in the Emergency Department at Ballina District Hospital and undertake as part of their training rotations to Lismore Base Hospital.
You'll provide clinical and professional leadership as an expert in the field and undertake comprehensive health assessments, as well as collaborating with other members of the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate care. This integrated approach will support best practice and maximise patient care outcomes.

Our airport has direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne. Twenty minutes' drive from Byron Bay, just an hour to Queensland's Gold Coast or under two hours to Brisbane.
