A fast-growing solar and home battery retailer/installer based in Silverwater, Sydney is hiring multiple Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to fuel growth across residential solar PV and battery storage. This is a full-time opportunity with hybrid flexibility and an immediate start. If you're sharp on the phone, organised in a CRM, and motivated by performance-based earnings, you'll fit right in.
You'll join a business in one of the most active consumer markets in Australia—helping households reduce energy bills and improve energy independence. You won't be starting from scratch: there's an existing lead-generation engine, and your job is to make sure every enquiry gets handled quickly, professionally, and converted into quality appointments for the sales team. There's real progression here for SDRs who want to step into senior SDR, closing, or team leadership pathways.
What you'll do
* Contact inbound leads quickly and professionally, qualify customer needs, and set high-quality appointments.
* Run structured discovery: household usage patterns, goals (bill reduction, backup, EV readiness), timing, and decision criteria.
* Handle objections with integrity (no pressure tactics), and set clear expectations around next steps.
* Maintain clean CRM notes and handovers so the sales/consulting team can close efficiently.
* Hit activity and quality KPIs (speed-to-lead, connect rate, set rate, show rate) and improve week-on-week.
What we're looking for
* Strong phone communication and confidence building rapport quickly.
* SDR/inside sales experience (solar/home improvements/energy preferred but not essential).
* CRM discipline and comfort working to targets.
* A coachable mindset—open to scripts, call reviews, and continuous improvement.
* Reliability and strong follow-through.
