About The Role
This potential role will be for a Field Service Technician who will service clients in Mt Piper and Wollongong. The role includes servicing and maintaining critical water and chemical dosing equipment, conducting regular site checks, and liaising with key stakeholders at heavy industrial sites. It offers hands‐on technical and sales training, mentoring, and opportunities to build relationships with customers.
Travel to client sites and overnight stays may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Equipment testing and maintenance, collecting process samples, and ensuring optimal application of chemical treatment programs.
* Assist with troubleshooting equipment and technical problems to maintain ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations.
* Develop strong client relationships by delivering value‐added service.
* Manage customer inventories and product delivery.
* Gain a deeper understanding of in‐field process services.
Qualifications
* Trade qualification or relevant technical experience in mining or heavy industry.
* Interest in hands‐on work with chemical dosing systems and customer processes.
* Strong technical problem‐solving ability.
* Desire to work in the mineral processing industry.
* Aptitude for customer service.
* Ability to work both individually and in a team.
* Rapport‐building skills with users of products and chemical treatment programs.
* Proactive approach to learning technical aspects of the business.
* Commitment to safety, environment, occupational health and quality.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
