About the role:
An exciting opportunity is available for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join a high‑performing finance team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for a driven finance professional who thrives on partnering with the business, influencing decision‑making, and turning data into actionable insight.
Working closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Sales, and Operations, you'll play a key role in shaping performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. This is more than a traditional reporting role — you'll be at the heart of commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support cost control, strategic planning, and overall business performance
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead key components of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple operational areas
P&L Ownership: Manage and analyse profit and loss results, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Decision Support: Deliver timely and insightful ad‑hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present clear, meaningful performance updates for senior leadership
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive efficiencies and cost‑saving initiatives
What We Are Looking For:
Strong analytical capability with a passion for translating data into commercial insight
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business partnering
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
Proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach
Part‑qualified or qualified in a relevant finance or accounting discipline (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
1-2 years' experience in a finance‑related role post‑degree, ideally in an FMCG or fast‑moving commercial environment
Strong Excel skills; experience or interest in tools such as Power BI highly regarded
Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems (e.g. JDE, BI or similar)
Collaborative, growth‑oriented attitude with ambition to develop your career
