Bookings & Admin Officer
Location: Geelong, VIC (Hybrid: Work from home & office)
Salary: Up to $70,000 p.a. + super, pending experience, plus on-call allowances (potential additional up to $15,000 p.a.)

Calibre Workforce is a Geelong-based labour hire and recruitment company servicing clients across Victoria. We specialise in providing reliable, professional staffing solutions — with a strong focus on the hospitality and events industries.
We're looking for a personable and detail-oriented Bookings & Admin Officer to support our fast-paced staffing operations. This is a key support role for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives on structure, and can work independently while staying connected to a collaborative team.
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients and staff, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and bookings are processed accurately. You'll also assist with recruitment tasks such as screening, reference checks and onboarding admin — helping our team deliver high‑quality staffing solutions every day.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of work-from-home flexibility and in-office collaboration at our Geelong location.
What You'll Do
• Manage incoming client and staff enquiries via phone, email and internal systems
• Process bookings and update rosters with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain compliance records, onboarding documents and staff files
• Support recruitment tasks such as screening, reference checks and onboarding admin
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
• Keep systems and documentation up to date to ensure smooth daily operations
Additional Requirement
This role participates in a shared after-hours on-call roster to support labour-hire operations, including occasional evenings and weekends. On-call duties involve responding to urgent staffing enquiries and coordinating shift coverage where required. All on-call work is rostered in advance and remunerated in addition to the base salary.
What You'll Bring
• Minimum 2 years' experience in administration or office support
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems
• A calm, solutions-focused approach in a busy environment
• Experience in hospitality, staffing or recruitment (preferred but not essential
