Are you a skilled Wood Machinist with a passion for crafting high-quality wooden products? We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team. If you thrive in a hands-on role and have expertise in operating woodworking machinery, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate woodworking machines and tools to produce precision wooden products.
- Ensure that machines are set up to cut wood as per designs, specifications and drawings
- Adjust and calibrate machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and shaping
- Select and measure wood stock for cutting, planning, turning, shaping, lathe work, or sanding.
- Monitor machine operations, adjusting as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and finish wood products using wood products such as varnishes, stains, lacquers, paint.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards
- 3 years of work experience minimum in the industry
- Proven ability to operate an Edge Bander, Panel Saw, and various Woodworking Machines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience in setting up, calibrating, and maintaining woodworking equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans or specifications (preferred)
- A safety-first mindset and familiarity with workplace health and safety standards
