About The Role

Our OGC & Secretariat is expanding and we’re looking for a Technology Lawyer (Client Contracting) to join our vast community of solvers. The OGC & Secretariat brings our purpose to life by providing strategic advice to the business.

You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:

Technology LawTechnology contracting, data, AI and IPStrong written and verbal communication

In our OGC & Secretariat team, your impact will be seen by:

Providing trusted and sensible advice on technology client contracting mattersProviding oral and written legal advice to stakeholders on a range of technology client contracting mattersUndertaking legal analysis and providing clear, plain English advice to management on commercial arrangements and legal obligationsDrafting contract documents such as Master/Umbrella/Framework Services Agreements, Technology-specific Services Agreements, Subcontract Agreement, License Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Service Schedules/Modules, and Statements of Work/Order DocumentsDeveloping practice innovation to improve how the team delivers legal services to our clients Delivering training/presentations Monitoring legal and regulatory changes, and developing flexible, creative and innovative solutions to business problems Working closely with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization and particularly with PwC’s risk and compliance teamsFollowing escalation protocols and pathways and consulting senior lawyers as requiredMentoring and supervising team members including reviewing work and providing direction on their matters Providing focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems

More About You

You must have a minimum of 4 years' PQE with a technology law backgroundYou have post-admission experience in the area of technology contracting, data and IP, ideally with some private practice experience. In-house experience/secondment to a technology service provider/customer would be beneficial You have experience and confidence in dealing with and assisting stakeholders, including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communicationsYou have strong technical knowledge in one or more areas of commercial contracting including technologyYou have experience working within teams of lawyers and supporting and consulting senior lawyers You have excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact You have the ability to identify and consider critical and key issues, assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the business can make informed, risk-based commercial decisions You have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects You have a genuine interest in improving practice innovation and digitisation
