**About the Role**:
As the Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our Enterprise Wide Risk Management (EWRM) framework. You'll manage risk processes, provide legal advice on contracts, and contribute to the improvement of governance policies.
- **Strategically Shape Risk Frameworks**: Lead EWRM maintenance, improve policies, manage Risk Register, and establish strong networks for effective risk management.
- **Elevate Corporate Governance**: Provide vital Board and Committee support, maintain Fraud Risk Assessment, align with standards, and stay informed of governance trends.
- **Legal Excellence and Contract Oversight**: Offer expert legal advice, manage key contracts, ensure legal protection, and foster strong partnerships for maximum impact.
- **Empower Change Through Expertise**: Drive transformative change by leveraging your legal, risk, and governance expertise in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing EWRM, ensuring its compliance and improvement
- Preparing and presenting risk reports to various committees
- Overseeing Corporate Governance, policy alignment, and updates
- Providing expert legal advice on various matters, including contracts
- Coordinating membership information and satisfaction
- Monitoring administration matters, trademarks, and website content
- Facilitating EMG meetings and contract administration
- Promoting Work Health and Safety principles
**About You**:
**Advanced Collaboration and Leadership**: Demonstrated ability in advanced collaboration, partnership, and team-building, enhancing effective teamwork and communication.
**Strategic Planning Expertise**: Proven experience in strategic planning and decision-making at an advanced level, ensuring strategic alignment and impactful results.
**Legal and Risk Proficiency**: Extensive background in providing expert legal advice, especially in contract-related matters, and building/maintaining enterprise risk management frameworks.
**Government and Community Acumen**: Adeptness in navigating government policies and programs, with desirable experience in government, PBI, or community service organisations.
Your experience and core competencies will include:
- Strong legal background, especially in contract-related matters
- Proficiency in risk management framework implementation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organisational and deadline-driven approach
- Analytical thinking for interpreting complex information
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Familiarity with government policies and programs (desirable)
- Experience in community service organisations (desirable)
