OFFSITE is a leading provider of prefabricated timber solutions, delivering precision-engineered structural systems to the Australian construction industry.
With a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability, we combine advanced CAD/CAM technologies with efficient manufacturing to streamline building processes from design to installation.
Our team of detailers, engineers, and production experts work collaboratively to create smarter, faster, and more sustainable ways to build.
At OFFSITE, we're not just shaping timber — we're reshaping how construction happens.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking QHSE Advisor who will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of OFFSITE QHSE frameworks.
This elevated role requires strong system ownership, leadership capability, and the ability to engage confidently with internal teams, senior management, clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
About the Role
The QHSE Advisor will take ownership of the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems and lead the continuous development of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
This role provides strategic and operational leadership across compliance, risk management, audits, training, incident investigations, and HSEQ engagement.
Working across workshop, site, and corporate environments, you will drive a positive QHSE culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support OFFSITE's commitment to innovation, safety, and quality.
What You'll Do
Lead, develop, and maintain QHSE strategies, policies, procedures, and processes.
Own and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), including document control and governance.
Represent OFFSITE to clients, regulators, auditors, and certification bodies on all QHSE matters.
Develop and manage the internal audit schedule and coordinate all external and certification audits.
Lead incident, injury, and environmental investigations, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
Manage return-to-work and injury management programs in line with legislation and insurer requirements.
Maintain and report on QHSE performance, KPIs, trends, and system improvements to senior leadership.
Develop and deliver QHSE induction, training, competency frameworks, and toolbox sessions.
Support leaders to meet their QHSE responsibilities through coaching, guidance, and system oversight.
Contribute to tender submissions, client prequalification requirements, and project-specific QHSE plans.
Oversee QHSE data, reporting systems, training records, incident registers, and certification documentation.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 4–5+ years' experience in a QHSE role, ideally in construction or manufacturing environments.
Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in OHS/WHS/HSE or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to lead QHSE systems and provide subject matter expertise.
Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental, and quality legislation and ISO-aligned systems.
Experience leading audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action processes.
Strong administrative, organisational, and data management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills with confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE reporting tools.
Current Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
Experience with ISO accreditation systems or WHS monitoring software.
Auditor qualification or return-to-work coordinator certification.
Experience supporting tender submissions and client prequalification processes.
