Role Overview
The Account Executive – APAC is a
new business–focused sales role
, responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on franchise and multi-location businesses.
This role requires a
hunter mindset
and an enterprise-level sales approach, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close. The successful candidate will be highly self-directed, commercially driven, and motivated by performance-based earnings.
Reporting to the Sales Manager – APAC, the Account Executive will be accountable for building pipeline, achieving consistent activity levels, closing high-value deals, and exceeding revenue targets.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate required to work from our Brisbane-based office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Development (Primary Focus)
* Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire
new logo customers
across the APAC region
- Build and manage a
self-generated pipeline
through outbound prospecting, networking, and market engagement
- Own the
full sales cycle
, from initial outreach and discovery through to negotiation and close
- Execute a disciplined, repeatable activity levels for
hunter-led sales
Enterprise Sales Execution
* Sell into franchise and multi-location organisations using a
multi-stakeholder, consultative approach
* Engage senior decision-makers across marketing, operations, IT, compliance, and finance
* Navigate complex sales environments and longer deal cycles with strong commercial acumen
Market & Vertical Strategy
* Develop deep understanding of priority verticals and customer challenges
* Leverage industry associations, networks, and partnerships to generate opportunities
* Position Constant Contact as a strategic partner, not just a vendor
Performance & Success Measures
* Achievement and overachievement of
new business revenue targets
* Pipeline creation
and coverage
- Conversion rates
from opportunity to close
- Consistent
daily, weekly call / email / meeting activity levels
Experience & Requirements
* Minimum
3 years' experience
in a SaaS or software-based sales environment
- Proven success in a
new business / hunter role
, managing the full-cycle from prospecting through closing high-value deals
- Experience selling into
franchise, multi-location, or multi-listing businesses
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-level engagement skills
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and competitive drive
- Familiarity with the APAC market (Australia and New Zealand essential)
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
