Are you an experienced Fleet Controller looking for your next long term move in the Transport Industry? This role will not only be utilising your Fleet Allocation skills but also your overall planning experience. This role is based in our QLD Depot in Redbank, join us to become part of a growing high performing team.
Role responsibilities:
* Plan and implement daily runs and routing
* Booking consignments
* Ensure all operations are supervised effectively and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met
* Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to ensure delivery services are met and/or exceed the customer's expectations
* Ensure safety policies are implemented including incident investigations, inspections and reporting
* Receive and action any customer requests in a timely and efficient manner
* Develop and complete data reconciliation and customer reporting to meet weekly requirements
* Proactively manage unplanned emergencies, and advise clients of any planned/unplanned delays
* Review and action operational requirements.
Skills and experience:
* Logistics fleet control background with a minimum of 2 years experience
* Excellent communication skills that will allow you to liaise with varied stakeholders
* Highly focused, reliable and effective deadline management;
* Attention to detail
* A strong customer service approach
* The ability to maintain and be proactive regarding the WH&S obligations, Fatigue and Mass Management compliance.
* Coles booking portal experience desirable
* Computer literacy - Office 365 - in particular Excel, C3, Mobile Dock and major booking portals
