Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Safety Advisor. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce and the general public.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to effectively identify and mitigate potential hazards, conduct regular site inspections, and maintain accurate records.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS/OHS legislation, standards, and internal policies.
* Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
* Maintain accurate safety records, including incident logs, training registers, and audit results.
* Foster a proactive safety culture by engaging with teams and promoting safe work practices.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HSE role within commercial construction.
* Well-rounded HSE expertise specific to the commercial construction sector.
* Certificate IV in WHS/OHS (at a minimum).
