Axis Hire is a rapidly expanding truck and earth moving hire company operating in the Mining, Civil and Construction sectors throughout Australia. Responsibilities
* Loading & unloading of varying vehicles and equipment including oversize and over mass
* Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations
* Complying with Company Policies and procedures
* Completing pre-start and other operational checklists
* Plan travel schedules and routes
* Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic delays
* Prepare appropriate paperwork
Required Qualifications
* Hold a valid MC Class Drivers License
* Hold a current Commercial Drivers Medical Report
* Current Fatigue Management Certificate
* 50T float experience, 100T float experience beneficial but not essential
* Have experience with heavy haulage transport equipment, including low loaders and drop decks
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Properly utilise safety equipment
* Ability to follow directions
* Two years of experience driving commercial trucks
* Clean driving record and background check
