Position Overview
Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and has been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders in the Western Australian building market.
Notes: This position reports to our Senior Manager Sales.
Key responsibilities and requirements
* Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets
* Identify business opportunities and establish strong relationships with potential clients
* Review your market and communicate trends, developments and new strategy ideas to the wider business
* Motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
* Commit to business goals/ targets, driving results through collaboration and problem solving
* Partner with internal teams, operating as a lead point of contact to ensure seamless client support and satisfaction
* Experience as a Customer Account Manager or Technical Sales Representative
* Prior Timber or Building experience and knowledge highly regarded but not essential
You will have
* Experience in a Customer Account Manager or Technical Sales Representative role or similar
* Experience and knowledge of the WA building industry
* Commercially minded with demonstrated business acumen
* Confident and clear communicator with excellent organizational skills
* Commitment to the highest level of customer satisfaction
* Timber industry experience – highly regarded.
* A trade or tertiary qualification within business related field
