You will take charge of warehouse operations, ensuring stock is managed accurately, the workspace is safe and efficient, and resources are used effectively.
This role is central to keeping projects moving smoothly and supporting the wider team.What You'll Do:Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory, incoming goods, and deliveriesOversee stock across multiple locations (warehouse, vehicles, project sites, and offsite storage)Liaise with project managers and estimators for material procurementMaintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse, annex, and yard.Coordinate the receipt of incoming goods, ensure effective packing and delivery to project sites, and liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and local vendors.Follow WHS guidelines, manage hazardous substances in accordance with legislation, and maintain safety standards in warehouse operations.Manage consumable stock levels (e.g., gas, oil, lubricants) and oversee stocktaking to ensure inventory accuracy.Drive efficiencies in warehouse management practices and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat You Need:Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or equivalent industry experienceForklift licence (High Risk Work)NSW HR driver's licence (desirable)Experience using inventory management systems (i.e. SimPro)Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamExperience with warehouse procedures and best practicesGood communication skills and proactive approachPhysical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and using manual handling techniques.
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods.
