We’re seeking a proactive and technically strong Senior Tax Analyst who enjoys owning core tax cycles and helping to streamline how tax is delivered across a growing Group.
You’ll be part of our Group Tax team, working closely with the ANZ Tax Operations Lead as the key driver of our Australian and New Zealand tax deliverables. Beyond the core ANZ cycles, you’ll play an active role in shaping how tax is delivered across the wider Group, helping modernise processes and contribute to more consistent, streamlined ways of working as we continue to scale.

What You’ll Do
Deliver core tax outcomes
You’ll ensure high‑quality delivery of our recurring tax obligations, including:
Preparing income tax workpapers and tax effect accounting supportDelivering GST, BAS, FBT, payroll tax and related indirect tax obligationsSupporting statutory accounts, audits and local compliance reviewsEnsuring documentation, controls and governance are consistently appliedMaintaining accurate and reliable tax data across systems

You’ll Collaborate With The Team To Enhance How Established Processes Operate And Connect, Helping Create a More Efficient And Scalable Tax Environment. Your Focus Areas Will Include
Enhance the consistency and usability of tax‑relevant data, supporting better forecasting and clearer reporting.Streamline data flows by working with finance and operations to reduce manual touch points.Support more accurate planning and scenario work, including cash tax/ETR forecasts and deferred tax outlooks.Identify opportunities for automation and system improvement across tax-sensitive processes.Contributing to support project and advisory work, including emerging global legislative changes.
Your work will directly support the team’s shift towards more predictable outcomes and a more efficient compliance engine.
About You
You’re someone who:
Is CA/CPA qualifiedHas experience in corporate tax or business services (generally 4+ years)Enjoys structured work, documentation and tax technical detailIs curious about improving systems, data and ways of workingCollaborates respectfully with subject matter expertsCan balance recurring delivery with practical improvementsSees clear potential for growth and broadening their tax capability
