Assistant Commercial Support Officer

* Location: Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with some travel to Sydney metro locations required from time to time (negotiable)
* Salary Range: Base salary $84,659 - $92,701+ 12% Super
* This role sits within Digital NSW in the Government Technology Platforms (GTP) Team.
The opportunity
We are now inviting applications for the opportunity of Assistant Commercial Support Officer for Government Technology Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's trusted partner to enable accessible and secure digital platforms and services for the citizens and business of NSW.
Day to Day Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Commercial Contracts & Performance Manager, providing a range of financial and administrative support services in relation to procurement and contracts.
* Processing purchase orders ensuring accurate information is maintained from suppliers for data integrity.
* Invoice processing – verifying accuracy, processing and recording invoices, ensuring invoices match purchase orders and receipts.
* Invoice disputes and resolution.
* Assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate across business units to deliver value for money, and deliver procurement outcomes.
* Contribute to improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and proposing new ideas to improve the efficiency of work processes and support a continuous improvement service delivery environment
* Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible
* Development of reports to assist with decision making
What you will bring to this role
* You will be an organised and self-motivated professional with demonstrated accounts payable experience. With a high attention to detail and passion for customer service, you will consistently deliver value to a range of stakeholders across the business.
* Your commitment to continuous improvement and ability to prioritise, work under pressure and clear communication skills will be critical to your success.
* Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite and Power App
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years SAP experience.
* Have demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
* Have a strong eye for detail with a focus on quality output.
