OverviewWe are looking for a Catering Assistant/Hostess to support the at Sir Robert Peel Hospital, Tamworth.Working shift Monday to Sunday 3.00pm - 6.00pm including bank holidays.
Weekend working included in the rota.You will be responsible for the preparing and serving of food, stocking shelves, cleaning duties, and beverage services at ward level, working as part of the Communities Facilities team.ResponsibilitiesThe main duties of a Catering Assistant/Hostess working at Sir Robert Peel Hospital are to work as part of catering/Hostess team, to carry out a variety of tasks associated with food orders and food preparation, food and beverage service to patients.To deliver good principles of customer care ensuring helpfulness, awareness and compassion to patients, visitors, staff and colleagues.Preparation of patient meal trays.Service of cold and hot food items with meal delivery to patients and customers.Cleaning duties within the kitchen and other associated areas in accordance with departmental cleaning schedules to include equipment, work surfaces crockery and cutlery.You will ideally possess a good understanding of Mathematics and English.
Have a good understanding of customer care and be able to communicate well with patients, staff and visitors.
