The Opportunity A leading global bank is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead and enhance its compliance function. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned compliance professional looking to shape and drive a robust compliance framework across a dynamic and growing business. You will manage regulatory relationships, advise on compliance matters, and support the business in navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for: Managing, reviewing, and updating the compliance framework, policies, and procedures Overseeing the implementation of new and existing regulatory requirements (AFSL, NCCP, Privacy, CRS, etc.) Leading a compliance team to conduct internal inspections and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory obligations Acting as the key contact with regulators including ASIC, ACCC, and external legal counsel Conducting incident and breach reporting, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions Providing compliance training and advisory support to internal business units Conducting thematic reviews and advising business units on emerging compliance risks Liaising with head office compliance functions and managing audit-related responses About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: A relevant degree in Law, Finance, Banking, or a related field Proven ability to manage a team and implement compliance strategies effectively Strong working knowledge of Australian financial services regulation and licensing frameworks Experience in dealing with regulators and external stakeholders Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills Why Apply?
