**Mid Art Director**

+61 Studio is the Creative Studio from TBWA x OMD x Bear Meets Eagle on Fire dedicated to world class creativity for Telstra.
We are looking for an Art Director who has a passion for creativity in customer marketing and cares as much for the small spaces as the large ones.
The role will be partnering with our charming copywriter and working with in a tight, dedicated team responsible for the customer marketing activity for one of Australia's most prominent brands. World class creativity is the ambition for all the brands' communications, and customer marketing is no exception. This team is the Centre of Excellence for Customer Marketing across the client business. Activity spans scaled program delivery for acquisition, retention and loyalty.
**The Role**
You will be the lead creative team from conception through to execution for the breadth of customer marketing activity and integrated campaigns for the brand. You will work closely with business management, strategy, and creative as part of the agency team.
- Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, particularly within the customer marketing space.
- Be innovative and entrepreneurial, looking at new ways of approaching creative challenges and engage customers.
- Take creative decisions that push the work and deliver a constantly high level of craft.
- Understand the strategic context of the brand and how best to make impactful work.
- Be curious and generate ideas that work across multiple spaces and places.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and elevate work from the digital designer and junior copywriter.
- Ensure that all the work is conceptualised, developed and produced to the highest standard.
- Work closely with strategy and creative colleagues, and clients, to collaborate on all aspects of the project from briefing through to presenting final work.
- Work closely with strategy, business management, media and production across Sydney and Melbourne to build strong connections and cohesion.
- Be active members of the team to grow and support a creative culture. Be curious and bring creativity to the agency.
**Experience / Qualifications**:
- Experience working as a mid-senior art director in advertising, 2-3 years' agency experience.
- Creatively innovative, strategic thinker with the mindset to generate high quality ideas.
- Ability to present and share work internally and to our clients in a truly engaging, influential and charismatic manner.
- Detail orientated, capable of managing and overseeing several on-going projects.
- Embrace collaboration and be a true team player who understands the value of collective effort towards a common goal.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passionate about technology, media, innovation, music, art and culture in all its forms.
- Optimistic, positive attitude towards life.
