Operations Supervisor - Warehouse & Transport Altona, VIC | 5:30am - 1:30pm
This hands-on role focuses on driving efficiency, safety, and high-quality service while managing a team and supporting continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and coach a team of 15-20 warehouse and transport staff
* Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and manage KPIs for productivity, delivery, and safety
* Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, dispatch, and fleet operations
* Ensure compliance with WHS, CoR, quality, environmental, and 5S standards
* Resolve operational issues and maintain strong customer relationships
* Implement process improvements and support operational excellence
* Prepare reports and analyses for management decisions
* Travel to customer sites as required
About You
* Experience in logistics, warehouse, or 4PL operations
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Hands‐on, solutions‐focused, and results‐driven
* Knowledge of Melbourne metro/regional routes and freight operations
* Ability to analyse data and drive operational performance
* Willing to obtain and maintain Yellow Badge security clearance
