Nephrology Nurse Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Nephrology Nurse to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a haemodialysis clinical setting. This includes participating in the design, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
In addition to providing direct patient care, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient information in medical records, including Therapy Data Management System (TDMS), and adhering to confidentiality and privacy policies.
The role also involves actively participating in quality improvement processes by reporting incidents, hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
Competencies include demonstrated clinical competence and expertise in nephrology nursing, as well as the ability to reflect on nursing practice and apply learning as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered as a general nurse with AHPRA
* Current practising certificate
* Understanding of quality improvement process and risk management obligations
* Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise in nephrology nursing
* Ability to continuously reflect on nursing practice and apply learning as appropriate
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
