Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a background in regulated environments? This is a senior leadership opportunity within a defence / aviation sector organisation, ensuring compliance, safety, and risk management across multiple contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
* Oversee Work Health & Safety Management Systems (WHSMS)
* Ensure compliance with internal & external safety, quality, and risk regulations
* Lead audit programs for subcontractors and suppliers
* Provide strategic guidance to senior management on quality & safety initiatives
* Lead root cause analysis & corrective action processes
* Mentor and train quality & safety support teams
* Oversee client feedback, incident reports, and safety improvements
What We’re Looking For:
* Formal qualifications in Quality Management or WHSMS
* Experience in regulated industries (aviation, defence, mining, oil & gas or offshore)
* Strong stakeholder management skills across executive, engineering & subcontractor levels
* Knowledge of defence contracts & compliance standards preferred
* Ability to lead audits & implement quality assurance frameworks
* Australian Citizenship (mandatory for Defence clearance)
