About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Male Disability Support Worker to assist a client with personal care needs, including Sera Stead transfers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of manual handling and a commitment to maintaining client dignity, independence, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality personal care (e.g. showering, toileting, dressing)
* Assist with light domestic duties, meal preparation, and community access
* Follow care plans and report changes in client wellbeing
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience in disability or aged care support
* Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Police Check
* Working With Children Check
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Current Manual Handling Training
* Experience with Sera Stead transfers
* Up-to-date Flu Vaccination
* Excellent communication skills and professional boundaries
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $38.50 – $39.50 per hour
