About the Opportunity
As the Nurse Manager Grade 3 – Emergency Department, you will provide, coordinate, lead and directs Emergency Department services, including the delivery of high-quality nursing care within the department. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive service improvement, oversee workforce and performance, support safe patient flow, and ensure nursing service delivery remains contemporary, evidence-based and sustainable.
You will:
* Provide senior clinical and operational leadership within the Emergency Department to deliver safe, evidence-based, high-quality patient care
* Lead ED service coordination including patient flow, workforce performance, and day-to-day operational management
* Oversee governance frameworks including incidents, complaints, risk management, compliance, audits and continuous improvement (Between the Flags, RCA processes)
* Drive workforce planning, staff engagement and capability development through coaching, mentoring, performance management and change leadership
* Manage resources effectively including staffing allocation, budget oversight, service planning and KPI/benchmark monitoring to optimise outcomes

About You
You will bring:
* Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Leadership experience in a clinical or managerial role
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A commitment to quality, safety, and person-centred care
