* Pay: Competitive Basic Salary
* Hours of Work: Monday to Wednesday, 05:55-17:40 (11.75 hours per day, 35.25 per week)

Job Role
The CNC Setter/Operator will be responsible for setting and operating an Okuma 5‐axis vertical machining centre to manufacture high‐precision components. The role involves producing specialist seals using advanced elastomers and engineering plastics, ensuring strict quality standards are met. Working from detailed engineering drawings, the operator will utilise probing systems, CMM, and optical inspection equipment to maintain fine tolerances. This role requires a strong focus on precision and quality within a modern manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environment
* Strong background in setting and operating multi‐axis CNC machining centres
* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience with Okuma machine controls, specifically OSP‐P500 controls
* Knowledge of Renishaw Reporter software

* Initial shift pattern: Monday to Wednesday, 05:55-17:40
* Future rotating shift pattern:
o Week 1 Thursday to Saturday, 05:55-17:40
o Week 2 Monday to Wednesday, 05:55-17:40

Job Role
The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for setting and operating advanced CNC turn/mill machining centres within a precision engineering environment. The technician will primarily work with Mazak Integrex machines, producing high‐quality components from stainless steels and heat‐resistant super alloys to extremely fine tolerances. Duties include setting multi‐axis CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment, and ensuring all components meet strict engineering standards.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar precision engineering role
* Experience of twin turret machining
* Strong knowledge of Mazatrol Smooth controls
* Previous experience working with Mazak CNC machinery
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* NVQ / City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, preferably within manufacturing engineering
* Previous experience working with a Mazak Integrex machine
* Ability to programme CNC machines
Additional Information
