This team ensures guests have unforgettable experiences throughout their stay in Thredbo Village. They cover a range of accommodations such as the Thredbo Alpine Hotel and Thredbo Alpine Apartments as well as various external properties. Roles range through all stages of a guests experience from making their booking, preparing for their arrival and ensuring they are welcome and assisted throughout their entire stay.
Within all roles it is a requirement to provide excellent customer service, maintain a strong level of knowledge about the resort and deal well in fast paced environments.
Meet and greet guests, check them into the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, take hotel reservations, assist with luggage, handle special food & beverage event bookings and answer general resort enquiries. Outside of normal operating hours the Front Office team are the knowledge keepers for the resort, answering all after hours switchboard calls. Assisting in all aspects of the information centre's daily operations, including but not limited to; assisting guests with various enquiries of Thredbo and the wider local area, provide ticketing information, assist with Thredbo's managed apartments, and assisting with National Parks passes.
Skills & Experience
* Hold a current, valid & unrestricted C class Manual Drivers licence (Required).
* Experienced in hotel reservations, customer service or tourism (Desirable).
* Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities autonomously.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
