About the Role
The Risk Committees team is responsible for effective management of the governance activities related to all key executive Risk Management Committees; ownership and management of submissions to Board Risk Committee in collaboration with the Company Secretary, the ownership and management of existing processes/logistics to ensure Committees run efficiently; and additional initiatives as required by the Chief Risk Officer.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring all key deliverables are met within required timeframes and at the expected standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitors and reports the resolution of the Risk Committee issues and action/recommendation items as they relate to all Divisions globally.
* Assist the Senior Manager Risk Committees to seek to ensure the responsibilities of the various committees are discharged in accordance with their stated terms of reference/charters.
* Providing support/assistance to the committees as required.
* Review paper submissions and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure high standard of quality and timeliness of information flow through committees and quality assurance checks of submission format and content.
* Draft Committee minutes for review by the Senior Manager Risk Committees.
* Deputising for Senior Manager as Committee Secretary when required.
* Co-ordinating required material for regulator visits.
Requirements
* Strong Governance experience and mindset.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlines.
* Previous experience managing or reporting to governance bodies.
* Strong internal network.
