Mathematics Educator Opportunity

This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply their expertise of the Mathematics learning area across Years 7 to 12.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Mathematics educator who can provide high-quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. To be suitable for this role, you should be student and relationship-focused, innovative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal applicant will reflect on and evaluate the effectiveness of their teaching practice using a variety of methods available within the school and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve success. Knowledge of Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) will also be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach a range of Mathematics classes, including General and ATAR courses. Prior experience teaching ATAR Mathematics Applications courses would be highly regarded.

* Effective classroom management : A strong understanding of restorative practices and classroom management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Mathematics curriculum knowledge : A strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum from Year 7-12.
* Student-centred teaching : Ability to identify and respond to student needs, ensuring they are engaged, challenged, and supported in their learning.
* Differentiated Practice : A willingness to differentiate your teaching and assessment across the full range of abilities, so that every student has the opportunity to experience success.
