**Technical Librarian Role Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Technical Librarian to join our team. This role is responsible for managing technical resources, cataloging and maintaining documents, and providing research assistance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage technical resources, including books, journals, and electronic media.
* Catalog and maintain technical documents and archives.
* Assist users in finding technical resources and provide research assistance.
* Implement and manage library management systems and databases.
* Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
* Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
About You:
You will be a highly organized and resourceful individual with expertise in cataloging, curating, and maintaining technical documents and resources. Your strong attention to detail, familiarity with library management systems, and ability to organize complex information make you a key resource in fostering knowledge and innovation.
Requirements:
* Must be a US or Australian citizen.
* Possess a US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
* Associate degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in managing a technical library or similar resources.
* Strong organizational and IT skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
* Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
