WorkPac is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of project plans for our client Rio Tinto.
As a key member of the project controls team, you will play a critical role in maintaining project schedules, reporting progress, and ensuring compliance with project controls processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in creating, maintaining, and reporting on project plans and schedules
* Participate in schedule review meetings and update schedules as needed
* Maintain the integrity of integrated project schedule
* Support development of monthly schedule reports with proper analysis
* Assist in tracking progress and updating commodity curves
* Monitor project schedules and ensure compliance with standardized processes
* Maintain strong relationships with contractors and project stakeholders
* Collaborate with cost engineering and estimating teams on change impacts
* Provide technical support and schedule analysis to project stakeholders
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning or project controls
* Strong understanding of project scheduling and reporting
* Experience with cost engineering and project estimating
* Ability to analyze and report implications of schedule changes
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Familiarity with project controls systems, tools, and best practices
