The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our logistics network by leading and developing high-performing teams.
This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in employee and performance management, as well as a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring your workforce, leading large-scale projects, building and executing productivity plans, and managing safety, quality, and customer delivery promises.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and mentor salaried and hourly workforce to ensure high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

2. Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact to drive business growth and improvement.

3. Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to load balance.
">
4. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless execution of operations.
">
5. Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.

6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
">
">
* Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
">
* Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
">
* Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud.
">
* Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments).
">
* Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).
">

Basic Qualifications
">
">
* 3+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
">
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
