As a Senior Credit Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the bank's credit risk management framework. Your expertise in interpreting and analysing legislation, regulation, and other regulatory guidance will be instrumental in reviewing and supporting the ongoing development of appropriate credit policies for retail and business lending functions.
This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as experience in data analysis and reporting. You will work closely with the existing secretariat function and governance processes of the Credit Risk Committee, including committee planning activities, agenda preparation, minute taking, and accurate recording keeping of committee artefacts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management roles within financial services, with a strong understanding of contemporary compliance and operational risk frameworks and systems. Knowledge across multiple stages of the credit life cycle for a range of credit products is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain reporting which supports the assessment of the effectiveness of the bank's end-to-end lending processes.
* Leverage the bank's enterprise risk system to enhance the reporting of credit risk against the risk appetite and strategy of the bank.
* Assist the delivery and review of our Credit Assurance Plan across the credit life cycle.
Requirements:
* Experience in risk management roles within financial services.
* Knowledge of relevant financial services sector standards.
* Good understanding and practical working knowledge of contemporary compliance and operational risk frameworks and systems.
* Experience in data analysis and reporting.
