Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.
About the position: At Kirwan Early Learning Centre, we prioritise creating a warm, engaging environment that supports each child's individual growth. Every room within our centre offers a play-based educational program designed to meet the developmental needs of all children.
We are seeking a passionate Assistant Director to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis (38 hours per week), commencing as soon as practicable.
In this role, you will support the Director in providing strong leadership and ensuring the effective, day-to-day operation of a caring and inclusive environment. Your work will align with the Mission, Vision and Values of MMCNQ, the National Quality Framework, and MMCNQ Policies and Procedures. Throughout your journey, you will be supported by an experienced Service Leader and a Business Operations Consultant.

What We're Looking For:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Previous leadership experience
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these certifications
