The role will be responsible for identifying and partnering with mid-size and Enterprise Merchants with an LCR (Least Cost Routing) requirement, identifying opportunities for growth and closing deals with new and existing partners. What you'll be doing day-to-day: Identifying opportunities for growth with new and exisiting merchantsDeveloping and executing business development strategiesAccount/ partnership management of exisiting customers/ merchantsIdentifying potential new markets, customers, and partnerships within the merchant spaceMarket research/ competitor analysisProposals and presentationsNegotiating and managing contract processesWorking closely with your colleagues in the merchant growth team as well as other stakeholders across the business What you'll need to get the job:Extensive sales experience in the Payments/ Merchant Services space (you could be coming from a Merchant Services background in a bank or payments/ fintech)Proven new business development skills and a real 'hunter' mentalityStrong knowledge of the payment technology/ financial services spaceExcellent account management skills and ability to identify opportunities for growth within existing accountsYou must be patient and self-motivated (expect a longer sales cycle)You must have full working rights in Australia and have a network of Australian merchants Salary: $150-180k super 15% completion bonus (base salary dependent on experience).
