We seek an experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Water & Wastewater treatment or Network Infrastructure to join our team.
This role offers diverse opportunities and will see you involved in delivering various NSW, Australian, and international Water & Wastewater treatment and network projects.
* Delivering complex and ambitious water & wastewater projects by understanding clients' needs
* Using technical, project management, and client relationship skills for delivery and technical guidance of proposals, investigations, and technical design projects
* Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications and presentations
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 5-10 years' experience that includes water or wastewater treatment, or network infrastructure concept and detailed design
* Ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle
* Strong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposals
* Design or planning skills in water/wastewater treatment and network infrastructure, producing technical reports, developing engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Experience with using civil design software and digital design workflows, with experience in plant hydraulics being highly desirable
* Project management or design management experience, together with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff
